Can you believe it?! Only 50 days until D I S N E Y and MICKEY!! Oh yeah, woo hoo, yippee! I ordered our park tickets today, 8 day base tickets. A little birdy (thanks L!) told me the prices will be going up tomorrow. I was on hold for about 27 minutes (it would seem a few other people shared my idea) but didn't really notice because I was enjoying the sounds of Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Oh My! This is what I have 4,500 roll over minutes for, to enjoy the sounds of Disney! And to hear at the end of the phone conversation, "Have a magical day", really that's what life is about.
I figured, in all of my wisdom, that we should get the 8 day tickets, that way we can start having fun Friday night when we arrive, even if we just go for fireworks. At an extra $3/person/day, you really can't beat it. Beats waiting in line again though.
One thing I am intent on purchasing is a Figment sticker for my laptop, because he is purple and his name is Figment, of course!
I have not been gloating at work, so I have not had to pay the required fine every time I mention vacation. Instead I quietly write on my dry erase board every day the DISNEY COUNTDOWN. It feels like just last week I was too excited to sit down when I was calling to get tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Sigh, the good times.
I ordered special maps of the parks from Disney, I picked which attractions I wanted listed - maps are really cool, check out disneyworld.com if you want a set! Interestingly enough, my maps did not include any roller coasters. I wonder how that happened? They must all be closed when we're going.
