This weekend I went to DE. Saturday there was an event at Cecil, which is the track that Z races at. We were standing by where the cars do their burnouts and launch from - lot of smoke and noise. Bees and hornets galore, all over us! There weren't even any trash barrels close by! Z thought the smoke and noise would keep them away, but apparently the call of my perfume was stronger than the smoke. Note to self - no more perfume to the race track. We watched for a while, then went to sit in the stands. More bees. One of the cars wrecked, was a little scary watching the guy crawl out of his wrecked car and collapse on the ground. Luckily he was okay. Z then had to work for a little bit, but all worked out, thank goodness.
Saturday night we went down to the Pike Creek car show. The Chevelle is usually the center of attention, this was no different.
We went to dinner with his parents Saturday night, which was a lot of fun.
Sunday we drove to a couple potential reception sites, one looks more promising than the other, we'll see! Then was dinner with some friends, always a good time. And yup, there was a wasp at our table. He didn't last long. I love three day weekends!
